The Peaceweaver Collection is handmade by Mayan women in Guatemala. Primarily widow's w/children, these women have few options to support their families & have organized a co-op to bring the work to their homes. Bamboo Trading works directly with this co-op to fairly trade the collection. All pieces come w/an attach...ed romance card telling the Peaceweaver story. A portion of the proceeds are donated directly back to this special community through the international charity Friendship Bridge. Always the perfect color palate for the season, the handmade Bead Alchemy Collection is beautifully designed and crafted in the Philippine islands. These “must have” accessories are ridiculously well priced. The collection is predominantly made with extremely lightweight wood beads and sequins which made the pieces substantial yet comfortable.
